These are some handmade letters I made for a typography project at uni. To start, we had to take photographs of signage in Belfast, or to be more specific, the Smithfield Market and Library Quarter. From these photographs of existing letter forms we had to design the inside in our own way. We were encouraged to be experimental and use any media. It was interesting to have the freedom of designing the inside within the already developed outline. I thoroughly enjoyed this project as I got to work with such a variety of media. Variety is the spice of life.
